Conference ’09, presented by CollaborateMD and Medical Association of Billers (MAB) was held on May 18th and 19th, 2009, at The Rosen Centre Hotel in Orlando, Florida. Our goal was to offer both current and future users, administrators, vendors and affiliates of CollaborateMD and MAB the opportunity to collaborate with one another, learn more about current product features and services, and discover what we have planned for the short- and long-term future. We offered both AAPC and MAB continuing education units (CEUs), which provided added value to many of our industry’s billers, coders, and healthcare professionals who have worked so hard to proudly display their industry designations. Further, we had an incredible time meeting face-to-face with so many of our customers.

Though the entire conference was interesting and full of energy, the highlight for presenters and conference attendees alike definitely had to be the reveal of our newest software release, 8.3. We provided detailed explanation of many brand new features, including the enhanced functionality of our appointment scheduler, web-based reports, and verification services, and the introduction of our web-based user portal, payment posting & denial management tools, the code viewer, and superbill/custom label options.
